Physiology is the study of how the body works in health and disease at all levels including molecular, genomic, proteomic, ionic, cellular, organ and whole organism.
Our Department is dedicated to understanding fundamental physiological processes and translating these to clinical care.
The department has its own independent and spacious laboratory which is fully equipped with a variety of apparatus and multimedia. It is suited for both teaching and research purposes. The lecture halls and demonstration rooms are equipped with the latest audio-visual aids, providing a richer learning experience for students.
Physiology being a core subject, the faculty works at its best to help students develop clear concepts that will help them throughout their medical careers. The department is in continuous collaboration with other departments of basic and clinical sciences to promote integrated learning.
