Pathology is concerned with tissue structure and function in disease process and associated clinical signs and symptoms. It is thus the bridging discipline involving both basic science clinical practice.
The department has an adequate slide bank and gross specimen collection for the teaching purposes.
This department is also equipped with multi head microscope with LCD display screen and a bihead microscopy for proper explanation of the microscopic slides. Individual student binocular microscopes are also available for proper training. The department also has two has two labs along with experience teachers and technical staff.
The specialized diagnostic work in the field of Histopathology, Hematology, Clinical Pathology and Microbiology is done on routine basis.
